Thanks to that .doc file, I finally got the G54 to output properly. seems like I was going about it in the most complicated way possible.

Thanks again for your hard work on the InkJet C-Hook/Post, works great.

 

As for the Setup sheet.

 

If I do a 2d lathe toolpath it uses a white background and then lines that are in color but hard to see, it also zooms out to fit both the part and the move back to home position. This makes it difficult to see the actual part.

This will change the work offset output too G54,G55... etc. instead of the normal mastercam values of 0,1...etc. This only will change the output in the "offset info" section of the setup sheet. I am still trying to figure out how to do it in the detail section for each operation.

Yup I got that far already,

 

Now I an trying figure out of there is a way to get it to list at the bottom, instead of which OP's are using a certain WCS but which tool is assigned to that WCS instead

Can you do a mock up in paint so I have a better idea of what you are after?

 

Edit: There must be a way to do an IF/THEN sort of formatting to utilize the 0,1,2...etc. Thats the road I have been trying to go down, anyways.

and then the next question is how can you capture offset changes on tools.

then the tool gets reused as

How can we capture that?

I m runing X4 on Vista. I m not able to see any screen shot in my setup sheet.

 

I tried sample file same thing there. Is any body else have the same issue.

There is a known bug with Vista. Look in the other thread it was covered in great detail.

Has anyone been able to switch the feed unit shown and/or used to calculate the time estimate. For example, if I need my feed to be in meter/min instead of millimeter/min as it is right now, how would I do this?

So I found this thread and it has been a lot of help getting to where I have with Active Reports. I have a few questions though that I have not been able to figure out. I have the report outputting the offsets as G54,55 etc however my machines use offsets 3 different ways. One is 0=G54, 1=G55 another is 1=G54, 2=G55 and our Okumas are 1=H1, 2=H2 etc. However my active report is always 0=54. Where can I make a change so each machine outputs to the report correctly?? Also, when I use a COMMENT data field, is there a way to enter text into that comment field as I am building the setup sheet. I have went through all the help I can find and have downloaded a XML editor but XML is new to me and have not had much luck. Any more tips you guys can share???

I'll see about putting up an "image overide.doc" file on the web so it can be downloaded. It shows the naming scheme for each of the images.
