90 Degree heads

Is anyone out there using 90 degree heads to cut S.S and are happy with them on their milling machines.

 

I have used Etools coolant driven tooling before.

 

Something gear driven would be much stronger.

 

If so what brand are they?

We have Big angles heads and they work great. Just keep in mind that a 3/4" dia. tool is the maximum that the angle head will take. That is from our experience. I know they sell holder for facemills but we did not achieve good results with them.

We are using Kaiser 40 taper right angle heads to mill 304 on a vertical mill w/ rotary table, has worked well for many years.

Works great, slow as hell getting a good finish
