This thread has me confused. Where in mastercam are you trying to enter more then one line of text at a time. Is it to create entities for engraving? Also, what is this control M thing? And where do you use it.

When you are typing the comments in tool path parameter page (the first one). If you just keep on typing pass one line length, the comments window will show word wrap but when you post it out, you will see it's a one line comments.

Ctrl + M allows you to type multi-line comments. When you finish one line, do a "Ctrl + M" then you can start the next line...

Try both ways and post it out then you'll see what I mean.

HTH.

Dave,

This is good but what can I do if I have a tool description that has more than 3 lines?

Here is an example of the tool descriptions we have:

N0000 (S )(* T06 SPADE DRILL 21/32" DIA.)

N0000 (S )(* BLADE #150T-0021)

N0000 (S )(* BODY #25005H-002I)

N0000 (S )(* SLEEVE MORSE 3A2 + EXTENSION MORSE 3A3)

N0000 (S )(* HOLDER #B-645 OU #E-535)

thanks and have a nice day,

P.S. Just edited to ad the example.
