o/t Gas Prices

I was just curious what others are paying a gallon for regular unleaded gas.

In Mass. about $1.70

I know that there are others from outside of

USA and I would be curious as to what you pay

also,in US currency.

In San Diego, about $2.00+ for unleaded. We have the highest gas prices in the country.

Here in our part of southern Ontario it's between $0.78-$0.83/liter. After some mathemagics...

 

1 liter = 0.264 gallons

1 gallon = 3.79 liters

 

78 cents CDN ~= 52 cents USD

83 cents CDN ~= 56 cents USD

 

So at $0.78 CDN/liter, it's like $1.97 USD/gallon. And at $0.83 CDN/liter, it's like $2.12 USD/gallon. Either way, it sucks.

Around 1.59 for reg. unl. to 1.84+ for prem. unl. in and around Knoxville TN.

 

I use diesel - around 1.69 to 1.74.

 

Way too much for no actual shortage!

i just paid 18.9 cents a gallon, oh wait that was 1968. paid 1.65 in michigan on tuesday the same station raised it to 1.78 on wed. then came back down to 1.66 on thursday.go figure.......motty

We have Shell, Exon, Mobil, etc, etc, etc.

Filled up yesterday.

Shell, $ 1.89 @ Gallon, Regular.

Thats in U.S. Dollars.

That would've been my next guess 'cause I know it ain't a truck; my buddy has a F250 Super Duty with the diesel and he sure ain't getting 30MPG.

 

Loud as a xxxx, though. I've driven Macks with 400HP Caterpillar engines that were, without exaggeration (I have no idea how to spell that word), quieter than the friggin Powerstroke!

your right about being loud my dog starts barking that im home when im still 6 houses away the one thing thats strange for as big a smokin polluter that it is ...is that in nj inspection they dont check it for emisions...i pass every time

In Germany you pay 1.10 Euro/Liter,

thats ca. 4.5 USD/gallon.

no, thats for unleaded.

For diesel its about 4.05 USD/gallon.

Actually parked right next to the Mazak is a 1990 SEL 560 Benz - whatever the current price is in Canada I simply multiply by 100 (if .89 per litre then 89.00 to fill since it carries a 100 ltr tank), I don't think I will be bringing this out for another year or two - hell I can't afford to at 18 miles per gallon. But admittedly it is a lot of fun eating up those five litre Mustangs punks. come to papa !

What about home heating oil. I just got a $300.00 bill for my last fill out. That will only last about 3 weeks. Oh it was $1.793 a gallon.
