Haas mini mill died

We turned on our baby girl this morning.... fans but no display. All electrical going in OK, main relay latches, all fuses have been checked for continuity (I found nine), it's like a secondary power supply is dead. Any common problems I could check before I crawl behind it again? Nothing at the display box at all, no other problems with this machine ever, was running fine when we shut it down last night.

Also there is a big rack of spare fuses, do they expect you to have to replace them a lot LOL?

I don't know who your local retailer is, but I've had good support coming from my local retailer with phone troubleshooting on my old HAAS mills. You might want to call and talk to their Tech support guy. I've not seen a screen failure, but I wonder if your LCD monitor had a failure or if it has it's own transformer that has failed.

Thank you for the replies,

As suggested I called our local factory outlet and spoke briefly with a service tech. Looks like the low voltage power supply is out, got 110 going in and nothing coming out, the little white fuse is OK.

So I ordered one. Not as bad as I thought, $350 bucks. Looks like nothing more than a computer power supply only 6 times more expensive.

I'll post on the result, will probably be Tuesday or so.

Thanks again-

Got the power supply in today, along with a bag-O-cables and standoffs because it was a different power supply. Was about 2/3 the size and claims to be able to drive 9 amps instead of the 5 for the original. The machine works.

By 2020 Haas will have a "Mr. Fusion" on the top, put a couple pop cans and a banana peel in it then run the program.
