when i try to make a tap let's say 1/4 20 , i select "drill" in tool type and in cut parameters under "cylce" i select tap with a 600 RPM

but for some reason when i post it gives me a Feedrate of 30 instead of a .05 and also theres missing "G" and "M" codes like G95 , G94 and M29.

does anyone can help a little.? when i use mc9 i dont have problems at all .

thanks!

Is the tap defined properly? Specifically the TPI field?

I think that is part of the problem. He said he's selecting a *drill* for tool type. Is there a reason why *tap* isn't being chosen?

So from the pics, it looks like all is good. 1/4-20 Tap is selected, tapping cycle is selected, it's just it's not posting the ipr mode code. Until you get your post updated/modified, that ipm style tapping should work fine, unless your machine doesn't support it. What kind of machine is it?

Have you ran the update post c-hook?
