Matsuura 1000vf yasnac i-80 look ahead

Does anyone know if it's available and what the code to turn it on would be?

Spent couple hours combing thru the books with no luck and I find it hard to believe it'd not be available ???

TIA!!!

I don't know about any specific codes avaiable but on our Kitamura Horz's w/ yasnac i-80s

for HS (look ahead) machining in comp what we were either told or found, (its been years) was

to put in ON/OFF commands as follows

N9X1.3Y-1.024

Z-.46

GON

G41G1Y-.649F135.D52

X-2.61

Y.482

X.93

Y-.649

X-2.61

Y.482

X.93

Y-1.024

G40X1.3

GOF

N10G00Z2.

Pain in the butt but it definately made a difference.

note: letter O, (not zero) and once the GON is read, the screen will stop scrolling

untill the GOF is read.

Hope this is what you were looking for

Thanks guys,

If it's always on then it's not very good...I'm constantly fighting with finishes at higher feedrates while surfacing...

I did see something with HON and HOF in the books though

I guess I'll just leave this machine for simpler stuff ;)

Thanks

HON is what the book says. I tried it and it gives me an alarm so it's not there. Getting a quote for a board as we speak.

Thanks everyone!

Hi Mark, I am wondering if you got pricing and availability for this Yasnac i80 option. I just purchased Mastercam and an HMC with Yasnac i80 and may be interested in doing the same.
