John, Can you explain the dynamic wcs that you mentioned earlier? I tried mastercam help & couldn't figure out how to do it. I import models all the time & always have to 3D translate them to align them with the WCS so if there is an easier way I would like to know how to do it. Thanks in advance!

 

Dynamic WCS, the little ball in the center of the gnomon is the grab point, place it where you want the new WCS oriented, using the axis handles, grab them and align the XYZ to the orientation you want, accept, set WCS.

 

It takes a bit of practice to get it but once you do, it is way quicker than translate 3D.

 

BTW, Dynamic XFORM can perform the same function, with the added ability to relocate the part as well.
