I own a copy of Predator VCNC.. but I let maintenance drop several years ago and I'm 2 versions behind now.

 

I have Vericut at work, and while its much harder to use, it's also much more powerful

We have got to the point of on monday we employed a guy to draw and document all of our machines, as

machine tool manufacturers etc have been less than helpful when it comes to stop talking and start delivering.

(we wasted 12 months+ stuck in various conversations).

 

Looking forward to see what becomes of it.

And the MatrixCAM from Mazak which is a incredible piece of $hit. CrashGuard Studio smokes it... In fact, I don´t know what is worse: MatrixCAM or Mazak support for it.

 

Anyone else using Mazak Real-Time Anti-Collision here? How do you like it?

 

Care to add Mazak MatrixCAM to the list?

We learned some leasons with this: We don´t buy/negotiate machines without 3D models, and if they refuse to provide them, we simply show them the door. That helped us a few times.

 

Best support for real-time anti-collison systems I´ve seen: WFL. Their software rocks (Both machine´s and offline version) - They sent us the 3D models 3 days after my email. No extra fees, nothing. Just the same models they put on CrashGuard Studio we bought with the M120 / M150 MillTurns.

 

Worse one: Mazak - They charged us in US$ 5K for a set of e1060V8-II STEP models that they already had for the MatrixCAM software we bought with the machine. It won´t happen again.
