Mcam X5 Mu1 crashing

need some help guys. don't know if anyone experienced this before. whenever i have a lot of the newer surface rough toolpaths Mcx 5 Mu1 crashes on posting. sent the problem over to CNC Software and they were a big help. they recommend talking to my reseller. cant attached any file on the site for obvious reasons. any help would be appreciated.

does it crash if you post one op at a time ?

are you using the filter.. some of those toolpaths make HUGE nc files if you're not using the filter

If they are big toolpaths and you're not filtering them, you could be overwhelming your computer

Prolly cause thats what your supposed to do.

I have had this problem running MCX 6. Did a search and found a referance to crashes when posting with anti virus software running. I have no third party anti virus software on my machine, but I do have Microsoft security esentiles which has anti virus in it. I have since turned this off, It's been three weeks now with no crash on post issues.

 

Before I turned this off I had to save before every post, and if it crashed on post I usually had to do a restart to get the programs to post. :wallbash:
