Max-pac anyone heard of this?

How many of you have seen this software? Has anyone used it?

Talking to a local shop using it and looking at doing there work with MC no brainier from my view.

I've never heard of it, is it not getting the job done for them??

For impeller machining they are supposed to be top of the line from what I heard. Never used it or seen it used can only go by what I have heard about it.

it is doing the job basically but it works off point data to create a quick mesh and they have no control over the shape. They have one guy that know how to use it and he is leaving next week.they are starting to build the models in SW. I have to take there point data and build a model and do a test program in MC with blade Exprt should be fun.

I'm with Ron, I've heard of Max-PAC, but I've never gotten to play with it. I do think it's one of those "if you need to do exactly this, it can be great, but nothing else." things..

So far what I see is does this well and only that. so it limits the shop.
