Working on it guys,need an hour to get it processed, in the meantime.....take a look at Jay's earlier webinar

it pertains to Rotary's question below. Sometimes 5 Axis toolpaths can be used for more efficient 4th Axis output

 

 

 

Rotary, you may be interested in the class we call multi-axis. It teaches rotary 4th axis on a vertical machine, programming for a Horizontal with rotary axis, programming 3+2 on a five axis machine, fixture design for a horizontal machine and CNC lathe Details here, we have several other courses that may be helpful to you, but if I turn this into a commercial I will get kicked off the board :thumbdown:

That was a nice introduction to 5-axis machining/programming.

 

We are going to finally be getting our Ingersoll Gantry Mill up and running within the next few months... a lot of set backs... so I will be looking into some training on 5-axis programming for Mastercam soon, as we also bought the nutating head and plan on using it.
