quote:

I've said it for months now, this is a good guy whose going to break the cycle of spending tax dollars on special interests to buy votes and return the state to rational, pro-growth policies. Rock on Arnie.

Today is the start of his third day. He's already repealed the car tax. He informed the DMV that they WILL be sending out refunds, and not in three or five months like the DMV said it would take. (The DMV Director was FIRED over that one.. eek.gif ) He repealed the imigrant drivers licensing. He suspended all pending regulations from the Dufas administration, and will be reviewing ALL regulations put into place by the Dufas administration. And best of all, says that the davistation that this great state has endured is OVER!

This guy is good. He's a lot smarter than most everyone gave him credit for too. If you caught the inagural press conference, it was completely priceless!

I for one am looking forward to this next year to see what kind of holding power this guy's got.

LoL, Davistation! LoL

'Rekd teh Arnie for President!

This is what Michigan needs. the new gov is in the process of trying to revamp the books. basicly hide new taxes. this state makes so much money on the lotto it aint funny. but they spend so much in advertizing prolly nothin left for the schools like its suposed to be for. latest rumor I heard is Ted Nugent might run for mighty chair.

I was polled last night... very interesting. From the polling questions, here's what I think the plan will be (in addition to what was discussed above):

1. Force Indian Casino's to pay 25% taxes to the State.

2. Stop the spread of indian gaming in Calif. in general (no new casino's within 200 miles of a major metropolitan area)

3. Maybe let the casino's put slots at horse race tracks as an incentive to go along with the new taxes

4. A constitutional ammendment spending cap for the CA budget

5. A 15B bond measure to cover the current shortfall and restructure debt

6. Renegotiate the huge salary increase to prison guards that Davis gave them in return for a 1M donation to his political campaign

Sounds like a good start to me...
