video card settings

I'd start by installing the latest Detonators.

If you want to try to push the backplot speed, try disabling OpenGL's vsynch (you'll need to add the CoolBits value in your Registry). If you do and notice image "tears" turn it back on again but set your monitor's refresh rate to its highest setting.

Run at 16-bit colour; this forces your system to use the palette on the video card first and then resort to Windows' palette after all else fails.

Leave all antialiasing settings to the apps, unless you really need super duper visual clarity.

For stability, don't overclock the GPU. If you do overclock, do so in very small increments.

As far as Mastercam allocations go, search the forum for the best tips on that.

what about for a g-force 5200fx any tweakin tips.

does the manual provide any good suggestions

nVIDIA's manuals don't mention too much about tweaking. Since the GeForce and Quadro's use the same drivers, the things I mentioned above can also apply to your card.

The accelaration slider can be found on the Troubleshooting tab of the Advanced Display Properties dialog.
