GD&T arrow style

Thanks guys. Unfortunately the arrow style is not one of the choices under globals.

I am trying to stick to the ASME Y14.5M - 1994 GD&T standard.

I can get the shape (equaliteral triangle just by making the width and height the same and I can fill it but I can not get it to invert the triangle like it is on the drawings.

Actually I can't even get the GDT chook to run presently. Darn, I want to do these complete drawings in Mastercam (V9.1SP2) (Win XP pro)

Hopefully version X will be able to do reverse triangle style arrows. This would really be useful for doing GD&T Datum labels. this is one of the drawbacks why we don't use Mastercam for all of our drafting needs yet. We tried to make the reverse triangle style arrows in the GD&T chook but we had no luck.

confused.gif Why and who uses the Rectangle style arrow?

smile.gif Has anyone seen the new ASME Y14.41-2003 standard?

I don't know how often you use these, but could you create a library of them (GD&T labels) in MC and then merge them into your file as needed and 'drag' them to where you need them? Just a thought...
