Mastercam to Vericut

How do I get Mastercam to open vericut?

Vericut sells a Mastercam to Vericut interface

First you need to make sure you have a license for it

Then make sure its installed and properly configured

If all of the above is true, hit

ALT C then choose vericut.dll from the list of chooks that pops up

There is a button you can add to your Mastercam session to launch the Vericut interface as well. I will create a tool library and might need to add tools to it, If that is the case I create a dummy place to make a tool library and use the add tool function in Vericut to add tools to an existing library without having to remake one existing in Vericut. Make sure you have your attach points for operations configured correctly and seriously look at getting the .stp option if going to be working with huge files. These was a bug with undercut tools and you need to define your threadmills as dxf and save that profile to import in the tool library. Make sure to take the time to define your holders in your Mastercam file.
