I don't know how good it is, but it ships with MC

"C:\Users\Public\Documents\shared Mcam2017\lathe\Posts\Generic Haas ST 4X MT_Lathe.pst"

# Machine Specific Settings
# --------------------------------------------------------------------------
#Machine axis switches, initial
y_axis_mch   : no$   #SET_BY_MD - Machine has a Y axis, 0=no, 1=yes - Set based on Axis Combination in MD

Many guys here are programming multiaxis lathes with Mastercam  including 5ax mill turn

Thanks, I'll take a look at it.

If we get the machine we'll get a post from In-House or Postability, I just was unsure of whether or not MC supported the extra axis...looks like they do.

2017 comes with a pretty good post. There were issues with fwd/reverse live tooling calls and canned cycle issues in earlier versions of the "free" post. I personally would not by a post if you are using 2017, but it depends on what type of work you plan on doing with it.
