gap settings

Hello All.I use surface rough parellel  toolpat for my  part .I use 20mm enmill  .4 step over  .05 deep of cuts  .When I check my werify  there is so big gap on stock .There is some settings for set up small gaps on this type toolpath ???

When I looked at your part file I get the same result you  see in backplot.  Below is an image of what I see.  Do you not get the same result?  Does backplot show something different than verify?

Yes  I have  the same thing .My question is ,there is same settings for make smaller gaps on rough toolapth .After this tool I want to run finish .I now ,I can set up smaller step over .But  I wont to use biger   step over ,is something what I can get better finish ???

But I would suggest an Opti-Rough with a step up instead

But on Opti-rough  I can set up parallel cuts ????

this is plastic ,i do not want to run rough  2 h . that ,way I wont get bigger step down and step over

plastic i would do a 5/8 or 3/4 hog ball parallel @90   100 ipm take 15 min

Ok,but for the future when I will be run steel ,Can I setting smaller gap ,or there is not option on this type of toolpath ???

this is stock after opti-rough  .5 step over  .07 deep of cuts  .Can I get the same thing  after parallel toolpath with the same step over and deep of cuts ???

Seems as you are confusing gap setting with radial step overs. Yes gap settings are what happens between each slice lie the step over .

Do you understand using gap settings on the classic paths and the HST?
