2018 Tool plane display

Is there a hidden switch somewhere to display the t plane that I designated [ named ].

Other than the WCS the t plane is either undefined, right front, Etc. Etc.

sorry, should have been more specific, the operation you choose whether it is mill or drill will have to the right your WCS display,

with 2017 your named t plane is displayed exactly the way it is in the planes manager

2018 it is not.

right click in toolpaths manager -> display options:

one more time, lets say I named my tool plane GOOFY, instead of top or front, GOOFY will not be displayed.

jlw is correct, are you sure your operation is on the goofy toolplane?

yes , but will not show as GOOFY in your operation as a tool plane

       the WCS will always show as named, the tool plane will take on the view name

     2017 displays as named

yep, funny, when you get use to something, any way, I always used that for a quick check.

If goofy is a copy on an existing plane with the same origin. Mastercam seems to default back to the first plane with that origin

Yes and ISO and other things get all messed up also. I had a recent job with 4 VTL operations all using WCS. I got it done using the different WCS, but I had to go back and create some ISO views for one of the operations because it wouldn't work on the WCS it was assigned to. Mill WCS does it, but nothing like the lathe or VTL files that get side ways real quick.
