Mouse stuttering with new Win10 box

I got a new computer and I'm having issues with the mouse stuttering. I've got solid state drives and 32 GB of RAM so I don't think my system is being bogged down. It's not just with MC, it's all apps. It seems to be a common problem, based on a google search, but there are reports of everything under the sun fixing for different people...updated mouse driver, video driver, uninstall their particular antivirus, a mouse setting, etc. This list goes on and on.

Has anyone else seen this and fixed it?

I fixed this kind of problem before. It was a driver issue.

It can be hard to nail down but since the computer is new, hit the seller ASAP and see if they have a answer.

Could have a bad Video card. Long shot, but swap it out (drivers and all) with a different one.

g, can you be more specific on where this setting is?

Not while I'm at work. I'm running WIn 7 here

I'll find it and give you a step by step once I'm home.

It will probably be tomorrow though

or try google "turn off win 10 key logging"

Same USB mouse/keyboard that I was using flawlessly with my previous computer.

On my Boxx machine at home I've noticed that all USB ports are not the same

Some have power, some do not

Some will run USB key boards and mice correctly, some will not.

In my case it was not a slow or stuttering mouse, it was OK mouse or no mouse at all

I changed USB ports and for the moment, the lag is gone. We'll see if it stays that way. If not, then I might have to get IT involved for the administrative-type stuff that Machineguy mentioned.
