Boy, I sure got a little response on that little question. I thought it might get taken lightly.

For me, if Im on the forum, no chips are flying=no money. However, I sure learn alot.

And it is extremely interesting. I wish I could get on here more often.

Cheers,

Andy

Yeah let me see I have 7 machines and keep them running from 4 to 60 hours at a time. I also have another programmer and he keeps them running for 2-40 hours at a time also. I started a job last Thursday that ran till Monday. I have anonther part I started Thrusday that Jimmy seen that is still going on. I of course also have 2 operators but was nice enough to give one a couple days off and I picked up his slack.

Well Andy We have not had a Slow day since I have been there. I could keep us with 200 hours a week work of work and would have it if I didnt put my foot down. I send alot os parts out and turn down alot of work still. The only other thing is that we have gone through 6 motors in our place in the last month. We our on number 5 for the HAAS machine and Number 3 for the Fadal since I have been there. I keep trying to show them that down time and replacement motors cost more money that a new kick but machine but that has been an uphill battle. Someday maybe we will have some machines that really kick but day and night day after day and not crap out on us.
