  1. I'd like to see a "Last" funtion when selecting Drive and Check surfs.
  2. T-shirts!?!?!?! I NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED one!
  3. Right click on Group/Collapse-everything collapses. Left click on + for the GROUP the Group expands but the ops are still collapsed is how it works here.
  4. +1000 on the hardcopy....PDFs are hard to read when you're takin a dump!
  5. Click on the "+" sign to expand, and the "-" sign to collapse. works here.
  6. On Maintenance and got the box set as well. Even a new mousepad!
  7. As far as I know, Mastercam does not distinguish between "Joe's" 1/2in. Endmill and "Tom's" 1/2in. Endmill. All it sees is that there are TWO 1/2in. Endmills.
  8. I'd use two tool numbers, then T1=Rougher, T2=Finisher. I'd also setup my Tool Library to reflect the same situation.
  9. MCam Editor will add or delete Line Numbers, but I think EOB characters, ";" for example need to come from the post. I could be wrong, though.
  10. How many 1/2" endmills do ya need? Once you pick a tool, it should stay in your Tool List, just keep using the same tool.
  11. If your model was shaded, try tightening up the Chord Height setting under the Shading parameters. This will not affect actual surface quality, only the way it's seen on your screen. A smaller value will, however, take longer for the graphics system to process and update your screen, especially on large models.
  12. I can go from a PC Into the control, I just cant go from the control Out to a PC.
  13. I used all numbers...figured that would eliminate case sensitve errors
  14. had a service tech out yesterday for some other issues....I asked about this....his response was "We just started selling this brand of machine tool. I've never SEEN a Fanuc control before this!" Starting to get a real uneasy feelin..........
  15. If you can, put it up on the FTP. I'm sure someone can help figure it out.
  16. Tool length offset for the second tool same as the first?
  17. You can also define holders on the Toolpath Paramters Page
  18. That WOULD be the easy way out, wouldn't it?
  19. Nope.....that didn't work either. What's happening is when I select the "host" softkey, I have two choices, "Board" and "Embed". I pick Board (Fast Ethernet) the screen changes and I get a "Display Error" in blinking red letters in the lower left of the screen. I know this is the correct choice because I can ping in and out of this board with the ethernet cable plugged into the port marked Data Server.
  20. I did set up a server with a shared folder. I was, however, unaware of the peculiar naming convention. We have been using the flash memory card and it reads the "myfile.nc" format as long as the "O0001" is inside the program. I'll try the new filename as soon as I get a few other machines running. Thanks again for all your help
  21. James, Thanks again for the info. It got me about 10 steps closer to where I need to be. I can FTP INTO the control from any PC in the shop, however, I can't seem to connect to a PC from the control. Likely just a radio button or a check box I missed somewhere. Also...IE7 CAN ftp into the control, as well as WSFTP.
  22. There IS a Surface/Blend function in V9. Create/Surface/Next menu/2 surf blnd. Post it on the FTP and I'm sure someone will take a look at it and offer up some ideas.
  23. Not sure about accuracy, but I always use Tip
  24. Thanks, James, I'll give it a try tomorrow
