Well I would say this went well. I like the names we all have. And I have found if you have been here long enough that at some time you will stat your name we have done this sense the beggenning. So I say its all good. When I started I did not use my real name or give it. till the board memebers out of me.

Wccprogrammer, they are not suggesting a work around this is a better way to do the same thing. Project the 2d program instead of projecting the geo then progamming as a 3d contour. Now can you share a sample file that has your problem to look at the trouble? You can try ajusting the chaing tollorence. You can try Ignor depths. Sample PLEASE

TREV, it's all good. you did not make a bad statment. The books are big and contain alot but they also contain alot of issues as well. We use these books at one of the place I teach for the advance class. I only have the student use it some these days.

I would say all the diffrent books have some thing to give ,for sure some have more and like the Hand books that Code-breaker is talking about have less drawings and more detail about what the buttons do. The Dr.lin & Dr. shue version 9 is out and has been for a while. This time they added solids. This does have some good things and there are alot of mistakes to. The book on this board give you alot of projects and walk you thru. Code-breaker I take it you really like chariles new book. You are right the office has not got the V3 in yet. I think I have the only one from the CCCS offices at this time. This is a really good detail book.

I would look at the newer Toshibas and HP wide screen models. One thing about the HP wide screen is a full keyboard. I have the Toshibia with a 16" screen and works great. It also comes with Nvidia Chipset. the newer ones have more video ram. I would take a look at the AlienWare Laptop it has a real agp slot that can be updated.

TThere is a charge these days. you will have to talk with your local dealer to find the price.
