I programm usual 5 different types of machines lathes and mills.
I have create for each type different tools and material libraries.
This is ok for adjust for each machine every specific requirement but is complicate to add new materials or tools. Example I get a new tool and i had to add this to every librarie that use this tool.
How did you handle this??
Did you have just one material librarie for all your machine types?
Thanks
ok my files are now on the server even the config files. works good. I separate config and mtb files for each PC.
But prm and projectmanager.cfg file ae still in the PC.
How cann I put this in the server?
Toons: What do you mean with "mouse Button"? Did you mean the mtb file?
Thanks
The SVHBR Tool holder is a standard Sandvik tool.
May be not the common one but standard. The difference with the common is that the Kr angle is 107.5° and not 93°.
I can not find this holder in the holder catalog.
How cann I define this toolholder without to define a custom tool??
Thanks
Did somebody save their machine files (LMD,MMD,Tools....) in a Server instead of the local PC?
Is this usefull for made sure that all MC seats use the same files?
Thanks
Usually I am not succesfully in size.
Often I get slight oversize.
I agree with Dave the amount of material to ream made a huge difference.
Thank you very much for your suggestions.
I am not succesfull with the results when i use a reamer in Stainlesteel.
Cann somebody recommend me usuall feed & speed values for this material.
I will take a 1/4" reamer.
Thanks
Chris: I get this message
"Cannot create operation"
Now I´m running MCX4 MU3 in a 32 bit XP OS.
Last year I had to much problems with an Vista x64 and engraving that I decide to reinstall all in the XP 32 OS.
Thanks in advanced
Dave:
Since V4 I had the same problem. This is not a X3 issue.
In those cases I follow different ways.
1)I suppose you select the 2D geo with a window. Try to project the A selecting by "single".
2) If you cann change your surface type. From parametric to nurbs or from nurbs to parametric.
3) Be sure the "A" is not on the "rail" contour from the ruled surface. If so rotate the surface. So the A is not at the "beginn" or "end" of the surface.
4) Be sure you proyect on only one surfaces. If the rail from the ruled surface is segmented. For example two arcs. Create from them a spline and use this for revolv.
I´m sure one of this solutions will solve your problem.
My customer is a VERY Huge Companie. They have all this Micrometers,Gages,Laser Gages and so on.
I cann borrow his tools but they are 1600 Km far away and is complicate the logistic of this.
A CMM is a posibility. Actually I check this dimensions in a Vertical Machinig center with a Renishaw probe. But I can not do this in the machine during the turning process. To do this in this machine is also a transport problem inside the shop. A timing problem and so on.
Yes a Vertical Lathe. Temperature is not controled.
Ok I understand your point. The problem is that I need to check this dimension. I can not turn this with your method and supposed its ok.
Did sombody use gages to compare dimensions like this?
Thanks
We are now getting some parts from a new customer with thigth tolerances in comparison with the pieces dimensions.
for example
Diameter 1339.97 to 1339.89 mm this represents in inchs 52.7547 to 52.7515.
This is IT6 (diameter 1340 g6)
This is just an example because we get different parts with different diameters and every time just one piece. The diameter range is between 1000 to 1400 aprox. (39" to 60")
How cann I messure this without to buying a lot of different micrometers?
Did somebody have a better idea.
Thanks in advanced
Kunfuzed:
My Lathe had 4 gear steps. That what I do is following.
I set in each operation a max speed value and according to this max speed my post sets the gear step.
prpm #Output for start spindle
speed = speedrpm
if speed = zero,
pbld, n$, *spindle_l, e$ #RPM = '0', output just an 'M05'
else,
if maxss$ <= 170, pbld, n$,"M41" , e$
if maxss$ > 170 & maxss$ <= 355, pbld, n$,"M42" , e$
if maxss$ > 350 & maxss$ <= 680, pbld, n$,"M43" , e$
if maxss$ > 680, pbld, n$,"M44" , e$
pbld, n$, *sg97, *speed, *spindle_l, pgear, e$
!css_actv$ #Added (8/27/2002)
This is not only for HASS.
There is no possible to compensate in G02/G03 as the beginn.
At first you schould have a line and compensate there.The line must be larger than the tool radius.
But if the error is not at the begin of the compensated contour probably you are tring to mill a smaller radius than the tool radius
Just a question.
X4 Home Learning Edition is actually for learning at HOME.
Is legal to use it for see MCX files at work?
In former times I use MCX3 Demo version. In my understanding this was ok. Was not developed for home use.
But in the license agreement for MCX4 HLE you cann read that this is only for home use.
