  1. Yep. For some reason, it stops at 57, Ive got six parts each with their own offset 54-59(Set up in the WCS). Ive changed the from and to views and still it stops.
  2. John: I seem to recall something about the offsets starting back up at 110 or something the last time I was messing with the posts, again, you know what my success rate with messing with the post has been. Still trying to get a handle on machine defs, control defs, and posts working together.
  3. Haas 3&4 axis post, had it set up by Fastech (not much has changed from the original, Coolants, header notes) but I know it is an X post.
  4. quote: If you are doing all this then I don't know what the problem is. I would just fix it manually for now and try to figure it out later if possible. Sorry that is all I got. Thanks Spade...Thats exactly what I did, and I do appreciate your help. Its a production job and its running for now, I would just like to be able to post it out right without all the copy and paste. Thanks again
  5. Yes, on WCS. Three vices, 6 parts, 2 in each vice. Would like a G54-59, one for each part.
  6. Im not able to get a G58 or G59 to post out. We have three vices setup and are running same op in each vice w/no tool changes. I can get a G54 through a G57 to come out fine, but no matter what I try thats it, any suggestions? Thanks
  7. Yes, Congrats. This site is really appreciated by all. Im sure it helps save the industry substantial cabbage each year just by being able to give quick feedback on problems encountered. Thanks to all
  8. I know SW is a great for translating xxxx files that MC has hard time with. Had several door panel dies I just built that came across as a giant pile 'o' file. SW broke it down for me into a bunch of solids and then I could pick and choose which one I wanted to save out and bring in to MC. Pretty Cool stuff. Have a great day.
  9. John: Ive got a seat of SolidWorks, its a floater, but about the only thing I use it for is converting files. Im not real familiar with how to do much of anything with it.(AutoCad 2-D background = about worthless anymore) I will see what I can do with this as it sounds like a good way. Are you working 80-hrs a week too? Thanks for the reply, Im just trying to get a handle on a good way to do this. Thanks again, and again, and again, and.....
  10. Help. What are some ideas for setting up my machine tables(T-slot locations, bolt holes) to incorporate into my program files. Prefferably, Im thinking I would like to set them up in my default levels and turn on just the one I want.(Whichever machine Im setting up for) I know I could build .MCX files for each table and import them into each file. I guess, what method is preffered, or what would be a standard way of doing this? Thanks all.
  11. Why not just pop some c-bored holes in a fixture plate and bolt it to the table. Skin the long side and pop a dowel hole in it for location. Quick-dirty-reliable. The Mini's already suck because of Z height; I wouldnt want to stack up my table to quick in one of these. Just my thought.
  12. quote: I’ve had to delete the OP and recreate a new one. The "Error generating operation" also comes up suddenly while changing or making corrections to the files and again I delete the OP and recreate a new one. I thought it was just me! ditto on that. Only way ive found around this is to close the file Im in and re-open it, usually it will come back in OK. My favorite is when the ops go dirty for no apparent reason, 'specially the ones long as hell to generate. Gremlins
  13. Yeah Thad.......I found them. Why is it 10 seconds after I post I figure out my problem? I could try for two days and not get anywhere, but the second I post... you know. Thanks again.
  14. FYI If you dont have the tool material selected it wont show all of your tools.
  15. Its got me baffled. Ive been dealing with it for a few days now, kind of thought I would figure it out by now. Its probably what you suggested, and Ive got something moved around. Just wondered if anyone else went through this. Thanks again
  16. To easy, filter on or off, doesnt show all tools. Ex. Taps, doesnt show my metrics, Drills, doesnt show all available. Thanks
  17. What did I do, only some of my tools are showing up when I put in a toolpath, if I expand the tool manager their in there, but not showing up like they should when toolpathing. Any Ideas?
  18. I added the green arrow check with the pencil under it on my RMB and it dumps it out with only two clicks. Quickest way ive found yet.
  19. G-code, How are you getting points to snap to for a measurement? Am I missing something?
  20. I bitched about this when X was released because I was all pumped up about this feature. Needless to say I was disappointed with it too. It might work if your tolerances are +/- 1/4", but for most of us I dont think this is the case.
