I'm using dial up. I don't know if I have accessed the ftp site on this computer before. I have moved to a new company and I'm trying to get things straightened out. Rob

I'm having trouble getting to the ftp site. I keep getting a message: 425 Can't open data connection Also what are the setting that I should be using for Filezilla. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks Robert

Jay, The files were already in the Drawing Folder from yesterday. That's why I didn't want to upload them again. I haven't downloaded them yet. As soon as I get to the shop I will download them. When I get them I will post here so you can delete the folder. I need to be able to convert scans to MC drawings quite often. What software should I get to do the convert myself. Thanks Jay for the HELP!!!!!! Rob

Thanks Cad, I had one file freeze during download. Sorry for putting them in the wrong location. I will check in later today to see if they have been converted. I do have adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0. Can I use this program to convert? Thanks Rob

I have loaded 5 jpeg files on the ftp page. Could someone please convert these to Some file format that MC can read. I have tried the Brava viewer and Corel Paint and Draw as mentioned above. But, I can't get the files converted. If anyone uses something else. please let me know. Thanks Rob

I have downloaded the Brava viewer that was mentioned in a prevoius thread. I can't get the tiff file converted. Does anyone have any experience with converting these files. Thanks Robert

I have a drawing that isn't to scale. I know that a entity should be 1.00" long, it measures 1.283. I had a guy that I once worked with that done a math problem to come up with the scale factor. It has been so long since I done this I can't remember how it was done. Thanks Robert

I have loaded X2MR2 and it seems to be very slow. I'm going to do a re-install. Can I drag & drop my post and machine and control def from MR1 into MR2 or do I have to move them thru import files? Also, what is meant by cleaning the registry? And how do you do this? Thanks Rob -

I have a problem trying to communicate to my machine (Haas VF0). I can receive a program to the computer, but can't send a program to the machine. It seems that all my settings are correct, but I could be mistaken. Any Ideas? Thanks Rob

I need to add tool break detection to my mpmaster post. I want to be able to turn it on and off using Misc integers and reals. I want to use integers to turn the option on and off. Then use the same real # to set the tolerance amount. Is this the right way to use this option or should I be trying something different. My next move is to call CadCam Sol. If no one isn't already using this option. Thanks Rob

We usually start at the beginning of a toolchange. I don't know if a Mazak will read thru the program like a Haas or some of the other machines. Rob

Is the Cimco Editor on MR2 release?

Use keyless and don't look back. We used keyed chucks for years. Then I talked the owner into buying a couple of keyless chucks. He liked them so much he bought a couple more the next month. Good thing about keyless chucks are people that over tighten everything won't be stripping the keys. My 2 cents worth Rob
