  3. I haven't got to test the codes yet will try this afternoon Thanks Guys
  4. Does anyone know what M code turns on the cool air gun? there is 2 nozels on ours a copper tube wich is just air and it works but the other is a flex hose with cool air gun attached but I can not figure out how to get it on. Just a side note we have tried to reach komo but it is difficult.
  5. Does anyone know who makes those inline air coolers that work off venturi
  6. you can adjust your toolpath accordingly if you do a little math.
  7. I see our horizontals were SH 400 and 500 they were all fanuc so the NH series is all mitsu? is the mitsu control as robost as Fanuc?
  8. Probing is great use it correctly many people get carried away it is still a machine tool not a CMM for lights out we pick specific tight tolerance places only to check not a full part eval. I wish more and more shops would adopt this we need to take back being a country that can produce!!!!! any help you need feel free to ask we can make parts in the US as cheap as anywhere else if we all do it right!
  9. you tooling and documentation have to be in order but yes this is a great time saver, one way to really see where your setup times are being used is to video tape the operators setting up and what they are going to get, stalling because there are questions and the documentation is not clear. You need to make sure the jobs are kitted correctly and that you can repeat locations every time.
  10. do you have the hoder descibed in the tool path? you move down the list on the left path type first tool holder
  11. there has to be macro programs you may have to switch you parameters to edit the O8000's or O9000"s but that is easy and make sure to protect them when you are done editing.
  12. it is best to blue and scrape the turcite in you may want to speak with a rebuilder for some info.
  13. It says out of Range when you enter 4 will it still be effective?
  14. that does help but if while verifying the stl gets to big you will see this alarm
  15. ikegai lathe fanuc 18i control It does not have the setting = 4 for the card reader, Do you know how to use the card reader on a lathe
  16. Lacky I am sure it is a parameter setting I just don't have the books here. Concerning parameters Joe788 you are correct many people like to use multiple offsets for one tool so it wouldn't be best to use sctive tool length only. Another death parameter is the return through home position and I can't remember the other one but when you cancel length comp the Z axis moves to the location without comp and crashes
  17. at the end of path G00 Z2.0 M09 M05 G91G28Z0. M01 I think it was because machine was still moving but it shouldn't matter spindle can be off during rapid unless they have a parameter set. Another you do not need and H value after the G43 line the control assumes tool in spindle is the active length offset
  18. can you email me the code? are you running a sub? is this a brand new machine to you?
  19. What machine is this on, you may need to look several lines ahead or run it in single block to get the exact line.
