  1. Yes you can create your wcs from solid face or create curve on edge and create wcs from geometry

  4. Are they cutting back there I thought our leader was going to create jobs not take them away.
  5. My bad it does read O6001 and O6002, No % between programs though?
  6. I am having a weird problem getting multiple programs to load at once. I have % 6001 main program M99 % 6002 main program M99 % 6003 and so on. this has a user interface from the builder I am not sure if it is something they did you have to press a download button from there page.
  7. I would start with setup times, then move to cycle times just my 2 cents. If you do a current state map on your parts almost always the cycle time is the smallest of the overall part
  8. +1 precision m6300 3 gigram well they have 4 but use only 3

  11. there is an m code to allow feed without spindle rotation but in the standard cycles you can not use it.
  12. Just a note 256 and under should run fine many moris have problems with larger cards and will give you all kinds of z axis alarms now on the makino with the 310 it runs a 1 gig card just fine.
  13. yes there is are you trying to do some sort of burnishing cycle? you will probably have to build your own cycle. You can control the start angle of the spindle to if it needs to be at a certain point
  14. I agree with apps guy the only reason to use a vertical is large parts. Horizontals are the way we can ne competitive in manufacturing!
  15. I use the chamfer function all the time with comp and it always works well even if I have to multi step. the line you drive is the edge prior to chamfer I usualy use .05 tip offset unless I have a depth constraint then fill in your width you want. The tool has to be desribe right we generally have a chamfer tool with a speced flat size so we can be sure it is right since we swap tools in and out of the cell.
  16. I would look at a vendor managed system they are great you get a price cut all toos can be wanded to a job you can break down the costing anyway you like and they offer quick service and supply standard part numbers for your custom tools wich always have backups and you do not pay for them till you use them.
  17. Charlie these knurlers are great and easy to use http://www.quick-tools.at/knurling-tools/
