  1. Eduard - Either email your file to [email protected] or upload it to ftp.emastercam.com/incoming (and send an email notifying me that it's there). Along with the file indicate us what you expect each WCS value to be per operation in your posted code. That way we can offer a programming change or a post change to suit your needs.

  3. Use the 'search' function on this forum and enter: opcode = 19 [This message has been edited by Webmaster (edited 05-10-2001).]
  4. I found this amusing: from alt.machines.cnc, 04/28/01: quote: ... not like your *moderated* emastercam forum where one would get chastised for posting off topic. Guess it all depends how you define 'off topic'. Sounds like a good thread to me.
  5. Another thread currently going on about horizontal setups: http://www.emastercam.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/000927.html [This message has been edited by Webmaster (edited 05-02-2001).]
  6. Okanagan University College in British Columbia, Canada has provided distance education courses for Mastercam in the past: http://www.ouc.bc.ca/mech/mastercam/Courses.htm
  7. I've removed the Spell Check option because the SpellChecker.net will be discontinuing the free spellcheck service that they have been providing to UBB™ 5 users. Infopop Corp. is investigating other spellcheck options to incorporate into UBB™ 6 which we will jump to fairly soon.
  8. Download J.Taylor's Part [This message has been edited by Webmaster (edited 04-24-2001).]
  9. Plenty of freeware FTP software out there - www.tucows.com for instance. You should have the option for an anonymous login in the FTP software. Or you could set your username to 'anonymous' and supply your email as a password. Once on the ftp site, browse to the incoming dir. You will have rights to upload only to that directory.
  10. Doesn't speak English but would like to learn Mastercam V8, if someone could provide some assistance or perhaps recommendations. The 'confused' bit was a 'Smilies' attempt Don't forget babelfish.altavista.com
  11. I believe they've been available for some time now: http://www.emastercam.com/resources/wirebook8.html
  12. Metric versions of the In-House Solutions Mill Tutorials are now available in the Learning area of this site. The metric tutorials are available in downloadable PDF only for the moment.
  13. 1. Upload to ftp.emastercam.com/incoming using FTP software 2. Notify me by email of the file name - [email protected] 3. I'll transfer it to ftp.emastercam.com/Mastercam/Forum 4. A link to the file will be added to the topic
  14. Deleted a topic related to the licensing thread. PDG's instructions on contacting your resellers/distributor on this issue will stand as the final word.
  15. Technically the software can't be sold because you don't own it. You have only purchased a license to use the software. CNC Software will provide a statement on this that I will post up here. [This message has been edited by Webmaster (edited 04-05-2001).]

    test

As always, requests are duly noted. We tend to add what we can, when we can, within the limits of the engine we use. -- When you forget your password, go into "profile" - "Forget your password?" and enter the case-sensitive email you originally registered with. Your info will be emailed to that account. I have used this method to send Ken and Beav their original account info.
  17. You can upload a file related to your message to ftp.emastecam.com/incoming and notify me via email ([email protected]) of the file name. I will move to a directory where others can download it, and post the link back to the message thread.
  18. >Sooo, webby, where should I post the file? Upload to anon FTP at ftp.emastercam.com/incoming Inform me of the file via email and I will move it to a location where others can download it, and post the link here.
  19. Apologies. The Forum was down for some time this evening for a UBB engine upgrade that wasn't entirely smooth. Sorry for any inconvenience.

    chat

My initial thoughts on a chat room were posted on an earlier thread: http://www.emastercam.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/000308.html Few to none of us here would participate in a chat room.
  21. nickz - The files were indeed identical for the past week or so. The html_install_v8.exe file was not pruned down as it should have been. Thanks for the heads-up.
  22. Generally spaces are a bad thing in a URL. How many Internet domain names have spaces in them? Some applications get around this by inserting a %20 in place of a space, but the HTML product doesn't go to this bother. From the Readme file that you diligently read: "File names with spaces are not supported." That should perhaps be modified to say "Directory and File names..."
  23. No. html_install_v8.exe is the HTML Setup Sheets only, while the v8addons_full.exe file contains that and more: http://www.emastercam.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/000718.html
