An open FTP site leaves it vulnerable for Warez use.
If Kathy wants to share her file, we'll take these steps:
1. Kathy to upload to ftp.emastercam.com/incoming using FTP software
2. Notify me by email of the file name
3. I'll transfer it to ftp.emastercam.com/Mastercam/Forum
4. A link to the file will be added to the topic

Actually called a 'Cyberpuck' from the LogiCad3D division.

In general video card issues seem to be on the rise. Perhaps we should set up a Poll listing several v-cards that Members could vote on over time. Comments?
A topic called 'Post' was recently deleted from the Forum. The topic contained fairly emotional message content, resulting in some complaints from our Members.
In general I like freedom of expression, and like to keep the forum fairly unmoderated. Please recognize though that there is a line that should not be crossed.
Let's keep the emotional content out of the
messages, opting instead for constructive criticism while keeping a focus on Mastercam.
I would ask that we also eliminate use of acronyms involving profanity.

I'm expecting that there will be a 'press release' from CNC Software once the V8.1 CD's have been mass-produced and have arrived back at CNC Software. This will most likely be in a week's time. At that time, I'll post a notice of some sort here.
The install is ~160 MB, so it's doubtful that a patch will be available to jump from 8.0 to 8.1.
All contract Mastercam programmers should email contact info including SIM# to [email protected]. I will compile a list and may add a separate page to the site.
Sounds like you've already diagnosed this problem carefully.
Unless someone jumps in with some added insight, what you are left with is a Functionality Request for a future release. Send this through your reseller with supporting files to illustrate your request.
From the "Read This First Before Posting a New Topic!" Announcement on the main Mastercam Forum page:
7. Using ALL CAPITAL LETTERS is the equivalent of yelling on the Internet. You *do* need to tape that Caps Lock key down for G-Code, but please untape it for this Forum.
When listing postblocks on this forum it is helpful to use the UBB Code tag along with an HTML BIG code. Without it, your idents and spacing will be lost. Click on Edit for this message to see how it's done:

Seasons greetings from the gang here at In-House.
Thanks to everyone - CNC Software, Mastercam resellers, the forum moderators, and most importantly the forum members - who have all made this site both enjoyable and informative.
I don't have access to a team of lawyers to review license agreement, but CNC Software has a contract guy listed somewhere on their site, so I'm guessing it's an acceptable practice.
I don't think you can really track the output from Mastercam, it's just an ASCII file after all. Prove to me that Mastercam created a given NC file 1 second after Mastercam creates it.
