I loaded x3 the day it came out and when i try to load I get a message that says invalid sim found error code 2. dont know what is up with this, x2mr2 works fine and i have been using it sice i did not have time to fix but now it must be fixed. any help out there?

here is the deal, I am trying to get away with cutting a deep radius mold for a column base and I Dont have a 5 axis machine. What I am going to try to do is pour a block of 60 durometer rubber and cut my profile on it and then lay it in a radius form.I need to know what kind of bits and speeds I would need to use.

I just got a Dell T5400 workstation and have cut so much time off of my work. Management understands money, they will save money and get work done faster,which will let them take on more work for more money.

I am wondering if anyone knows if Vista or Xp has a feature to record? I would like to copy a verify or backplot for a power point presentation. I use the print screen and pain functions to capture still pictures but would love to get it all. Maybe there is a program or add on somwhere? Help!!

This happened to me a while ago doing the exact same thing, make sure your hasp code is up to date,right click on you mastercam icon and see if your code is there for art,john from cnc will prob chime in soon he helped me. are you using the Mastercam Launcher? Sometimes it may have somthing set as inactive

Streaming Teacher is great,not as good as going to a class at a re-seller or a community college but it does the trick.They offer the Art platform for free,as long as you have Art you can follow.The place I have learned the most is right here in this forum, There are alot of guys that will bend over backwards to help you. I recently changed computers and am now running vista but have not had any problems, if I do what you suggest should I get better performance? I am running a new dell precision with quad xeons processors?

My drafting department draws me files and sends them as surfaces as a dwg file and they allways have a wireframe,I just hit alt s and the shading goes of, is this the same you are talking about?

I have no problems with vista and Nvidia. I just got a Dell precision with the quad core xeon and nvidia quadro fx 570 SLI and i love the way mastercam runs with vista, have it on my xps laptop with nvidia 8400 a little slower but still pretty. I still have a gateway with XP pro , but i have not had 1 issue with vista, I think it got a bad rap when it first came out. It is the future so I imagine Mastercam will bwe catering to it in the upcoming releases??
