for simplicity just write it out as separate paths. dont force a toolchange and watch out for possible crashing/gouging on clearance-retract moves.
BTW you cant link to images located on cadcams ftp server

We did one once a log time ago. hand held comtroller, console, head-mount display, everything. a complete system. one of the coolest jobs of all time. then, after many, many millions of dollars, the client stopped the project. (shrug) sorry. dont have the files any longer.

Long shank taps like that are often called "pulley taps". from the function of having to tap set screw holes on the hubs of pulleys with large diameter shives
/more useless info clogging my brain

We have had an OmniTurn C-axis Lathemodel GT-75 for 5-6 years. It is bult on a weldment frame and uses linear slides. A Hardinge style spindle with a 4000 rpm C-axis motor. A home Brew PC based controller. A Simple and effective machine. THere are some limitations in its functionality (no g94 without spindle being on)which means that c-axis face drilling is done in Long hand. It is a decent capable machine without a lot of options.

dkintzel.
I am "The Iron chef" when I post from home.
I Looked at you work web site. It looks like you make a very nice, well made and high quality product. Your answers in this thread were very helpful. You showed a real understanding of the problem and creativity in solving it.
My answer was based on my recent experience with rebuilding a ~150 yr old door in my house.
BTW i love your avatar. It is really amusing.

Yes, yes and yes!
1. just start typing.
2. Type out a .txt, save that down. Then click the button that says "use file" (or something like that) and select the file that you have saved.

Oh, most posts require some editing to get really clean 1005 or 1006 comments
Don't got to the bar at lunch. j/k
How did you select the points to drill. You may not have picked the center of the holes. just a guess. Was your c'bore cycle a point to point cycle or was it interpolated. THere would be something strang if it was point to point. and use tyhe IDENTICAL geomtry as the (incorrect) holes.

Offsets can be considered as "Global" changes for ALL paths that are cut with that offset(it applies to all)
Editing Is more "Local" as it only applies to the specific ordinate.
-Keith
select "all" or
shift-click a stack or
ctrl-click indvidual paths
then
ctrl-click (de-select)the paths that you DONT want to verify
I do it all the time.

more on Tool Libraries when i get to work and can relax. Ok, Things have slowed down a little now.
Tool Libraries:
I created a tool library for each of our Machining centers. THe FADAL library is generally arranged like the following list In a 21 station carosel
station 1 - 4 open This allow for creating tools on the fly while programming.
T5 #3 center Drill
T6 - T15 Tap drills starting with a #50 drill(t6)
and clearance drills ending with a #17 drill (t15)
T16 .1875 mill
T17 .0625
T18 .125
T19 .250
T20 .500
T21 3" shell mill
I use this library when i program on a FADAL. You can allways swap tools into stations that your not using when you fill up all the open stations. This is a very fast way to work and suits us well here for our rapid turnaround.
