I thought it was just my install. Like you said, close, reopen and it works fine. Sometimes I'll shut MC down and restart
I have been blaming our IT dept. security BS. Lathe is a whole nother story.
Yup, but the bone head will just f them up again. One of those that know all but.....
So that is his punishment. When he complains it is off I tell him to fix it and stop abusing the tools then I will get another.
We have several of the Kurt vises. Nothing special about them. We have two that are sprung because the gorilla that uses them
insists on using a hammer to tighten the handle. Those two are the only ones I let him use now.
File Transfer Protocol, If you look in this forum (a few above this topic at moment) there is a pinned topic describing it with links.
Welcome to the forum.
Scott, Welcome to the forum.
We run the Anilam 3000M and 5000 here,(they don't use T0)not sure of crusader M. I have seen that problem when the post leaves a ramp off move to cancel cutter comp, usally at end of program. I would also try what Leigh suggested.
We do Monday startup here. When I was third shift I prefered Sunday start so I could have Fridays off. The Monday start works well if you have first do Saturday time.
Thank you Ron for a well written article and thanks to 35K Chipper for pointing it out. I have been working on this for some time. I showed the article to the owners and got the go ahead just this morning.
What Ron said. I use coolants depending on the application of part. We sometimes use it in elevated temp and try to match the conditions of use. As to fly cutting watch for chipping of edges.

ducati,
I believe dxf is standard in the utility option. I did come across a post for 2-axis that
output in conversational but for 3-axis the added step was necessary. Only used the dxf utility a few times and found it limited. I think our reseller got the posts from In House, so they are out there.
ducati,
The 3000 is a low end control that is only conversational. It has the capability to convert DXF files and g-code files. The posts we have output g-code, we then convert that to conversational within the anilam control. It is an added step of three to four mouse clicks. Ours
is on the network so file size is not a problem. Older controls have a floppy drive newer have usb.

ducati,
After running g-code thru conversion utility, the
conversational looks like this. Contour toolpath of 1" sq. with .250 radii upper right .01 deep.

We run a machine with Anilam 3000m control. The post came from dealer, actually has a couple that work. We do have to run the G-code through the conversion utility at the control or offline program. The U on the 3000m is for rotary table.
HTH
Thats the way it was for me also. I just followed thru and have had no problems. After post update I selected the machine and control def. in settings as I did not migrate from x3.

We use high speed head with carbide burrs. Speed depends on shape and surface contact of burr, 10,000-35,000+. I have also used reamer followed by small groove tool with circle mill as Vince said.
