  2. Also.... Math + Trig / Geometry = Headache, which > life problems which leads to alcohol which leads to hangovers and headaches. So I'd say skip the trig and goto the bottle and get the headaches the easy way.
  3. quote: Anyone know if it would show up as a gif file or does it have to be a jay peg?If you are trying to do it in your signature you have it wrong. You have it as a link and not an image. Meaning you need it like this: and not like this: http://www.premierpattern.com/logo1.gif Correct?
  4. quote: I need the trig formula to find the angle of arc sweep, knowing Radius of arc and the circumference of the arc sweep segmentOk how about this then...from the Mach. Handbook: a=57.296L/R a = Angle L = Length of Arc R = Radius If you like I could email you the page from the Mach. Handbook
  5. I'm present....I'm never really ever "here" though
  6. We use Hirschman fixtures for our wire. They also work quite well too. Check them out. http://www.hirschmannusa.com/ http://www.edm-products.com/index.htm
  7. Yes....you can. You select a region to record and then it saves it as a AVI file. The file size gets pretty large with a large region. Also look at Camtasia. More features but costs more. More info on SnagIt More info on Camtasia
  8. Look into a program called SnagIt also. Does screen captures and screen captures via video also. It's the Print Screen button on steriods
  9. But the 64bit version of XP is only designed for the Itanium chips
  10. But there has been one 64bit coded virus already written for the 64bit Itanium XP - W64.Rugrat.3344 http://slashdot.org/articles/04/05/29/1722...tid=190&tid=201
  11. The only 64bit OS now are Linux distros. There is a Windows OS for the Intel Itanium which I doubt anyone in there right mind would buy one. They start @ $1400. But the Athlon 64 FX I heard are very fast and will run 32bit coded apps with no probs. Unless you want to wait for Longhorn from Mirco$oft....any year now it will be coming out.
  12. Sorry Jack never got back to it....but I see KWolf did it anyways in SW.
  13. quote: When I do a file get I get a window that has a left hand column that shows history, desktop,my docs, mycomp, ect. folders. Is there way to add extra folders to this column? This was on ScreenSavers tonight!!!!! Check out the link...you can switch them to any 5 locations you'd like! http://www.techtv.com/screensavers/windows...3699092,00.html
  14. Jack and Murlin ... When I have sometime I'll adjust my SW part... What I had so far is on the FTP...see above.
  15. +1 Lars ... We have an Ona Prima and I also just have to use STCW, which 9.1 dropped , and the MPWPrima post. The edits I made to the post were very minimal. I actually preferred STCW then the thread/cut pts in 9.1. I actually still use Wire 9 and use Mill and Lathe 9.1. I just haven't let go on 9 yet because of wire.
  16. Here is what I got.... Corner Bracket It's a SW2004 file 29sumptin ??? It's not the same as the 15° face and then matches up the the 90° face? I just must be looking at it wrong or something.
  17. quote: This is not the easy modeling exercise that it appears to be; the drawing is issued from my night school instructor in an Inventor class. All assumptions are your own as they were mine. Email me your native solution if you would be so kind ([email protected]) and I will consider this a learning exercise for all enthusiasts. All modeling software is fair game Rhino, Solidworks, ProE, you name it! Anything and everything goes: Jack -> From your scanned dwg how can you put in the 1" dia hole thru the face at 1-5/8" up on the 15° face. It will break thru the top edge.
  18. Word clipart....copy and paste into AutoCAD as entities, cleanup drawing and into MC! MS has tons of free clipart online....and some is pretty good.
  19. 2d=AutoCAD - 3d Solid=SolidWorks. Let me see you draw a electrical schematic in SolidWorks
  20. Any Barcode fonts....I'll upload them to CADCAM's FTP under unspecified uploads....something like bcfonts.zip ftp://mastercam:[email protected]/Ma...ads/bcfonts.zip
  21. They are different....Are they a companies custom font from IDAutomation?
  22. I have the font(s) BC C128 Medium, Narrow and Wide and BC C128 HD Medium, Narrow and Wide...does this sound right?
  23. This should be the link to the file.... "ftp://mastercam:[email protected]/Mastercam_forum/unspecified_uploads/Haas2.WMV"
