  1. Post the file. 1) yes, depth of cut. 2)Medium tool? You must define a tool. 3)Look on groove rough parameters page. Define your stock clearance.

  5. Thanks for replying. I have the stock model made, where in the verify settings can I reference this?
  6. I'm programming a square part on a Inegrex mill/turn. The issue I'm having is this, when I use verify it shows the swing of the part and not the square stock I defined. I wont be using the lathe function of this machine, just milling. Is there any way to make verify show square stock instead of the swung stock?

  8. You will just have to edit them. If your in the metric library and you want a .078 wide tool, just type in .078in. You must type the "in" after the .078. Glad to help.

  12. MRU? (most recent used) My MRU is set to the right of my screen and displays the last few icons I've used.
  13. Ok, I think I understand now. In the solids manager, at the top there is a tab labeled select. Hit that and select your solid. You will need to have all solids active in your levels manager. HTH....
  14. I've stuck with X7 for this reason. I can work faster in X7 because I know where everything is.
  15. look In your solids tree, check each solid to see if its suppressed. Some times its just a matter of shutting down and restarting MC.

  18. Hey guys, We have a customer that is sending us a model. Will mastercam import a native solidworks file? If not, what is the best format to use? Thanks.
  19. Did you chose a point in the chain manager? I suspect that's what your missing.
  20. There is a ton of stuff you are going to learn along the way, don't get discouraged. If I can learn this and make a living at it, anyone can.
