I have found what I needed but coolant is not being called up after the tool inspection point. There is no M88 recalled. But it looks like there is a coolant call in the post.

How can I lock my G,C & T views to only stay on my current view? I am running a ton of lathe and every time I do an alt-1 or a top view button from my space pilot it changes the G,C&T views back to top. Normally this is not an issue but when I go to analyze my geometry it keeps defaulting back to mill coordinates instead of lathe view I am using.
We have a Haas SL40. The low pressure pump M8 is hooked up to the wipers on the steady rest. The High pressure pump M88 is hooked up through the turret for the tool. But the controller is not letting me engage both pumps at the same time. Does anyone know any ways around this?
Does it have milling mode g112? I would use that setting instead. Plus I thought you guys were better than using Haas machines. When I spoke to all your guys at IMTS they were touting all the awesome machines you have, not dinky Haas.. And they are fun to drink with.
And they are cool enough to hold off sending the stuff back to us until the government opens again. It was already a tight turn around project. We will see how everything works out when I finally get back to work.
I have the same one. It's not so bad until your finding yourself walking through airports like Houston's Bush airport time and time again. That place is huge and by the time I could set that thing in my rental car was a huge relief.
I would always buy a laptop for power and screen size. A 17" laptop is about as small as I would ever go. A 10 keypad is a must. If you travel a lot, you can always get a wheelie backpack.
I need to put a 4.6 inch hole through 32 inches of 13-8 stainless. We have a boring bar that can make it but I have to open it up to about 3 inches before it will fit. The local gun driller will only go up to 2 inches. What options do you think we have. It's only 1 part.
For the TL-1 did you get the tool changer or the tool post.
If your going with the tool post route I would recommend Dorian. I think they were way better that Aloris. Their through toolpost coolant is pretty cool, not much pressure but it does make life a little easier. Also gang tooling works well when you need it. Royal has an 5c collet closer for those machines that works pretty well.
Don't use the tl post. use the st one instead. that way you don't have to swap axis. They made the post output to look like how you are looking at it from the operators perspective. Just use the other post and do it the way you would a turret lathe.
You can only use a special tap. Any normal tap would not work because a single lead thread with the correct pitch diameter would create the wrong threads per inch and also not be double start. Threadmilling is your only other option.
I tried to change the default file type on .stp files to mastercam. I go through the whole
change default program
browse
find the program
click on it
nothing happens.
