Yep, I have a part I'm going to do that is a solid model. I have to create edge curves to get a wireframe and then project to flat planes. After looking at Esprit Wire all I have to do is select faces and bam I have my geometry.
Can you just have multiple geometry with your parts already arrayed and window contour all of them without taking the tab pass and then window contour again taking only tab passes.
I can see that happening Tim especially since the majority of time I draw all geometry. I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to be learning it anyway. Be good to learn something new anyway.
This didn't post right but its in the help menu on creating customized toolbars
Drag and drop visual cues (customizing toolbars)
When you drag a function from an existing toolbar or from the Customize dialog box, Mastercam adds a visual cue to the cursor pointer. Visual cues indicate what will happen if you drop the function in the current position. They include:
No drop zone: The dragged icon is in a location it cannot be dropped into. If you drop it there, no change occurs. The icon remains in the toolbar from which it was dragged or, if dragged from the Customize dialog box, it is not added to a new or existing toolbar.
Add function: The dragged icon is in a location that, when dropped, adds the function either to a selected toolbar or to a new toolbar. Mastercam automatically creates a new toolbar when you drop the icon anywhere in the Mastercam window that is not occupied by a toolbar.
Remove function: The dragged icon is in a location that, when dropped, removes it from the selected toolbar. This does not delete the function from Mastercam; it is removed only from its position in the toolbar. You can add the toolbar button back at any time.
I's just tell them you need to use the restroom and then shi% right on the table in front of them and wipe yer a$$ with their profit margin papers. But hey, that's just me.
I think not having bathroom facilities and no water fountain is illegal in this case.

Can any of you Agie Wire guys give me some info on programming these wires and what the code looks like and pros and cons of using Mastercam with them. I may be changing jobs where these machines are used and they are foreign to me.
