  1. Back off one notch and it should be fine second time.
  2. I wonder why MC is so far behind on a state of the art machine. It has to be costing them new seats . I suspect we will probably end maintenance on MC.
  3. I was just told they are most likely going to use Esprit since it's ready to roll right now.
  4. Sorry Josh, I misunderstood the question. I know our reseller came in to discuss it and that they are looking at other packages to run it other than MC. In other words I really don't know yet.
  5. Yes it has BAxis Josh. They went out to California and bought it. Machine has 500 hours on it only.
  6. That's true. LOL I think they are deciding still on what to use Josh. They just set it up last week. I believe that it can do the B-Axis turning from what I was told.
  7. My Reseller came in a few weeks ago and helped me out a lot getting X7 running smoothly. Thanks Jim. EasTech, Inc.
  8. You could use color mask and then scale all the .5625 by a factor of 1.222222 to change hole to .6875.
  9. Arrrrrrrr! Shiver me hasp!!!
  10. Thanks G. I called my reseller and he is sending the new codes to someone here who I hope does it right. lol
  11. Mine says exp date of 02/28/2013 but ran yesterday. No I have not updated to Mu1 yet.
  12. Mastercam 7 will not open for me. It says maintenance has expired and I need to use an older version. I know it's up to date but IT guy is not here and gone until Monday. Is there anything I can do? Running on a Nethasp.
  13. I like my program number to default to a certain number to make sure I don't overwrite another program in my machine. After just updating to X7 I forget how to make it default to the same number I want every time I program a new file. Does any remember where I do that at? I know how to edit the number but I want a number that sticks.
  14. Thanks Colin. It already was set to default to wire. I ended up having to go to Utilities in X7 and deactivate mill through the mastercam launcher. Don't know why but it worked and then my operation defaults came up in my control definition. PIA every time I update. I think I will use X7 until I retire. I see nothing new in Wire anyway.
  15. I have downloaded x7 and then updated to x7sp2. Things didn't look right so I uninstalled all of it and then re installed. When I did EVERYTHING came back in just like I hadn't done anything. One of my problems I have is in the control definition under operation defaults the only thing that pops up is Mill. I am using WIRE. I cannot make my wire poer library stick no matter what I do. Anyone have any idea what I have done wrong?
  16. I get this Minor dia. .980 pitch dia1.125 thread angle 29 pitch.250 single depth .135 max depth .48334 wire size .12911 measurement over wires 1.28642 helix angle 4.04611
  17. I will be installing x7 on a new computer shortly myself. Should I wait?
  18. My experience with thin parts on WEDM is the first part will curl and after that remain flat.
