  3. Hi everybody, I want to setup my library of tool holders so I can have my exact tool holder profile. I know that you can draw the profile and bring it in with undefined tools, but I want to be able to control the cutter length also. So the operator has the piece of mind that the holder will not hit the part.
  4. I would like to know if Mc9 and X will run on a AMD processor.
  5. There is no machine out there that can keep up with a yasda.
  6. I will make it to one of the games. I am doing great.
  7. I am using absolute and relitive to tip. I never had this happen before. It has worked perfect in the past. I think it might be the new release that we have. We have release MR0105.
  8. I guess my spelling today is not working.
  9. It is a surfaces finish contour.
  10. I am programming a part and when I use the cut depths to tell the tool not to go past a certain depth it still goes past. Has anyone else had this problem?
  11. I know there will always be bugs but I just wanted to ask to see what all of you had to say. I am going to X on monday.
  12. I want to know if the first service pack fixed all the problems with the first release? I am ready to go to X, but I can not afford to have a lot of down time trying to fix problems. Thanks, James Gabel
  13. I work for the same company that Code Breaker recently worked for. Since Code Breaker's dismissal he posted a message filled with inaccurate information. People will logically believe a message as being truthful unlesss someone sets record straight. First of all, two of the custumers that we have supposedly lost have just given us complete molds to build with one of them being a package of multiple molds. We still have the same custumer base we have had in the past fifteen years and continue to expand the list. I repeat, we have not lost the custumers. I was't going to reply to the laughable post but when I saw poeple replying to it, I decided that the post had to be exposed for what it really is. Thank You
  14. That WCS tutorial works great. It will show you how to use it.
  15. I use a thrad mill on my cnc mill and cut the threads in the heat treated steel. I can cut a thrad in a block in about ten minutes. Programming it takes about ten minutes and I got a great threaded hole. The thread mills cost alot but it is worth it in the long run.
  16. I would like to know if MasterCam can communicate with unigraghics like it can with solidworks, not parisolids but straight from unigraghics.
  17. I tried it and it didn't work. I will try it again later
  18. I can get to work the way I need it to. I will try again later.
  19. I do all my operations seperate. Each tool has it's own operation. The operation group name for T1 would be O1001. The operation group name for T2 would be O1002. I need this chook to set the nci to the group name and the prog# as the same. Everytime I pick all operations it does not do it right. It will make all prog#'s on all operations O1001 and the nci will be like O1001 on the first operation and the second operation the nci will be O1001. It is not naming the nci the same as the group name. This is when I pick all operation at the same time. It also will not alow me to do one at a time, it keeps changing the other one's that I have already changed. I really like this chook. If I am doing something wrong please help. JAMES GABEL
