I want to setup a setup sheet on one piece of paper. I have made a excel sheet to a format that I like. Is it possible to have X+ put the information the cells that I made. If so, how do I do that. I have been using inhouse solutions setup sheets which are nice but to much paper. I just need the info on one page. Any help would be appreciated.
You could just use surfaces finish flow line. You can set it to go down the angle in a spiral. You could also use surface finish contour to go down just as easy. You should always use a programming software. I would highly recommend using mill to program any work on a cnc.
I make templete files for each machine that I have and when I start a new program I open the templete for that machine. I then merge the model into that file just like Eric said. That works great, you should not have to keep deleting the old geometry. That takes time leaves you open for mistakes.
I have fanuc 16i-m controls on my machines. I want to be able to orientate the spindle to any angle. Does anybody know what the m or g codes it is to do so?
Mastercam is driving me nuts.
Mastercam keeps shutting off every time I try to open any parameter on any tool path. I can not get anything done. If anyone can know what to do I would appreciate it.
I will get what errors I am getting and put them up here everyone to see.
I am getting an error and don't know where it is coming from. Has anyone got this error before.
The message says Machine does not have a programmable combination of linear/rotery axes to perform this operation.
I am just trying to do a surface finish contour, nothing special.
I want to setup a setup sheet with x+ but I need to know were to get the right one. I got one yesterday that has a setup sheet but no tool list. Where do I get the latest and greatest x+.
I just tried to change the color of the model I just brought in and mastercam will not allow me to. This is a first. Has this happened to anybody else and if so how do you fix it?
Is there a way to make a custom button for going to the macros. I have to keep going to different screens to get to the macro option. I want to have the option visible without going through different screens. My question is can you customize the soft keys on a fanuc 16i-M control?
