    G28 Z0

I haven't tried ref points but on a 4th axis this could be very beneficial, if it isn't too much of a hassle to set it up... I have it outputting a G91 G28 Z0, Then index and G43 again. This way I don't rotate with the tools too close to the part.
  3. I recently started using the MPmaster post with 4th axis on a vertical, and it will put out A's when I have a rotation and no A's if there isn't rotation... I really like the post so far ! Way better than the old one.
  4. This method works for me. Most machines won't turn on if the lead in is an arc while turning comp on. start angle = 90 entry/exit arc sweep = 90 start at center = checked perpendicular entry = checked

  6. http://www.emastercam.com/board/topic/78275-mpmaster-extra-tool-change-in-contour/ GOT IT...
  7. I have seen this before, yes. Seperate program in the indexer control box... Then just sub call to it to read the next line of rotation.
  8. That did it !! Many Thanks... Now will this be an issue if/when we start using Renishaw probes on the machine ???
  9. Gotcha ! My interpretation was "type out". My bad. Still trying to learn post lingo... I'll try it. Thank you.
  10. I have the Productivity Plus revision in the MPmaster that I am using, and the "force_tlchg" line is exactly like you have recommended, but I am still having this issue... We are not using probes here. Any other possibilities ?? thanks
  11. I am having the same issue in X8. Have you found a solution to this ?? thanks
  12. I was just about to do that. -Down load the MPmaster from here and try it as is.
  13. I switched back to the "old" post and it worked as well, BUT the 4th axis rotations were not... I also like some of the bells and whistles in the MP post... I am thinking I screwed something up in the post when tweeking it.
  14. Same tool, two toolpath operations...rough pkt and then finish pkt (-.090 deep) When using force tool change I am getting tool changes at every Z level on the 2nd toolpath. So far I am getting it to post what I want except this. Recently up graded to X8 and dumped the very old post. It was recommended that I start with the MPmaster post and do my own tweeks... I may have over / under tweeked it... Has any one seen this before ? Any help is much appreciated. I have attached the X8 file but couldn't attach the post. ??? Posted code is FTC off and then on. 15. Did this get resolved ? I have the same situation and would also like to have A90 and A-90 instead of A270... MPmaster Post X8 thanks for any help ! EDIT: If I put in an A0 operation IN BETWEEN the A90 and A-90 operations I will get what I want... At this point not sure if the 4th axis will swing down into the table when going from 90 to -90(270)
  16. How do you accomplish this ? Use stock plane in the stock set up ? thanks, tim
