  1. Disabled hardware acclerator is checked off. Should it be check on or off? Is there anything we need to check for within the Nvidia settings?
  2. it is checked on. Also in the Convertor page the Solid import Curves is checked on.
  3. Just did that and still have to move screen to make it work. No I did not just import a solid working on same file for several days.
  4. I did a search on this subject and found that others are having same problems. I tried everything that was suggested in previous post. This is in X5 and when I click on geometry it will not highlight until I move the geometry with my spaceball. I don't know if I have even clicked on the geometry until I move the screen. This is so fustrating. I did not have as much problems with X4, although it did hickup from time to time. What I have done up to this point is go to My computer -> properties -> Advanced -> Performance Settings -> Adjust for best perfomance. Operating System is XP SP2 Video card is Nvidia Quadro FX 3800 Computer is HP Z400 Quad core 64 bit Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks
  5. Has there been anyone that knows of a fix to the X5 Window Thumbnails issue? Thanks in advance.
  6. This happened to me on several occasions, Just like Mic6 said word for word.
  7. Okay thanks, I will impelment the new active report. I like it but other guys on the floor are not so up on change.
  8. I did a search for this and did not find what I needed. In the setting config pull down I can't find the GUI setup sheet file. Did they do away with GUI formatt. Works great for me.
  9. Thanks G code for your reply, I have it set at "MasterCam X style".
  10. John, I have Xp and the only thing I have in the folder options menu is to check\uncheck is "Do not cache thumbnails" it is currently unchecked.
  11. Installed X5 and everything works great except for Thumbnails do not come up. I have XP SP2 64 bit workstation. What do I need to do to get the thumbnails to come up. Thanks in advance.
  12. I guess what I'm trying to do is when I pick up say My computer and all the thumbnails within that window should be visiable thumbnails. It works in the Open file bitmap just fine. Thanks Ken
  13. Changing it to 16 bit did not work.
  14. I just got my 64 bit workstation and will not show MasterCam thumbnails. Our IS department says it is a MasterCam issue and not an windows issue. My Inventor Thumbnails come up but not my MasterCam. Any suggestions Thanks in advance
  15. Thanks Paul for the valuable tip.
  16. Found Problem, C-plane and active veiw was not the same. DOH!

  18. I've been using this pretty much fail proof post for several years now. But all of the sudden it is posting with errors or so it says. When I post a dialog box comes up and says I have errors in my post and ask if I want to veiw the errors. I go to view and it has about 25 errors. This came up on a simple facing program. Anybody else experience this? X4MU3 Thanks
  19. I've had this same problem and it's asking for the MasterCam disk so it can get iformation on it that it needs. I have done this to all 9 computors since installing Inventor 11.
  20. Okay I found out that the inverse is not set up in the machine tool. so I went back to G94 G95. Okay can I ask another 4th axis question. The move to the first position is G1 instead of G0 How can I change this so it does not feed to first position. Thanks
  21. I will check but I thought that what the tech who set it up said.
  22. I change to G93 and machine alarms out. "Improper G-Code" Have Fanuc controls on a Mori Sieki with a Nikken Rotary.
  23. Do I need to change the post to read G93?
  24. I'm fairly new to the rotary 4th axis machining and it appears to me that the rotary is going way to fast. I have check in the post this line: use_frinv : 1 #Use Inverse Time Feedrates in 4 Axis, (0 = no, 1 = yes) I have switch use inverse on. However in between G94 and G95 when switching to inverse it seems to scream. What am I missing? Thanks
