Have an old Okuma that needs post modifications to meet our needs. One item that has stumped me is where do I set Low gear rpm max and where High gear starts. Is this in the machine def or the post? Thanks in advance.

I downladed a 3d Cad file of a boring bar and would like to create tool geometry like you can in mill. Can you do this in lathe? Thanks in advance.

IS gave me a new computor and of coarse all my custom setting were not saved. Doooooohhhhhhhh! In Lathe rough tool path and by clicking on the solid a cross section came up and easily was able to click on geometry for any type of tool path. This feature does not come up anymore.For the light of me I cannot remember what I did to turn this feature on. What am I missing? Thanks in Advance.

Yes, the old computer had X4 on it too. Pete I looked at all my C=hooks and most are dated 11/24/09. with 3 dates at 5/20/2009. They are the Mirrortoolpaths.dll, Pickoffsetup.dll and InProcessStock.dll. MasterCam.FT is not in the C-Hooks folder at all. Should I just delete these? I dont use any of the above mentioned. Thanks for your Help.

Pete, I did not copy any C Hooks, but what happen is I recieved a new computer, Our IS department typically Ghost the image form the old computer to the new. I loaded MU2 on the new computer,that is when I started getting the error.

I loaded MU2 for X4 and I get this dialog box everytime I open MasterCam. The procedure entry point ?CFile_DoFileSave@@YADPBDD@Z could not be located in the dynamic link libary MCCore.dll What do I need to do to get rid of this. MasterCan seems to run just fine otherwise. Thanks in advance.

Yes that was what it was..... settings were set @ 1500 x 900 changed it to 1280 x 1024 and all better now. Thanks

Got a new puter, in the top veiw my arcs look like an ellipse. What gives? Is there any settings I can set to eliminate this? Thanks

I have X4 MU1 installed and I'm trying to import AutoCad 2010 DWG. It will not import at all. Is X4 MU1 updated to import AutoCad 2010 DWG? Thanks in advance.

Pete, That did not work either. All I get is one line that says Tool list of xxxxxxxxxx.mcx and the line that says, Program ! tool num ! tool dia ! tool corner rad.

It does not do anything. Ask for a tool list and process the information and comes up with nothing. I can't even get X+ to work.

I used the GUI setup sheet and it does not work for me in X4 MU1, What do I need to do to get it back? Thanks

After generating toolpath and its toolpath path is dispalyed on the screen which is normal. But what is not normal is the toolpath does not clear itself out when you go to the next operation or move the part. the only way to get rid of it is Alt+t. We ahve several seats fo MC and this staion is the only one doing it.

I need to include the tool nose radius offset into my tool number line. Now it reads T0101 and needs to read T010101 Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

You may need to save the Control Def. and then go right into your Machine def. and save that too.

NH_TCPIP_METHOD = TCP already in the Nethasp.ini, However it has 2 semi colons in front. Just delete the semi colons and should be good to go?

Whenever I multi thread (regen) more the 2 operations at one time, the sim always shuts down. Is there anything I can do to eliminate this? Using MasterCam X4.

I need an 15 degree inverted draft cutter, or an 15 dgree dovetial. Does anyone know where I can find one? Thanks in advance
