So as mentioned above 2018 will not generate my toolpath but 2019 will. Well Im stuck then hey?

I have MC Maintenance I didn't know 2019 was out? Im currently running 2018 I went to my linked account at Mastercam.com there is no 2019 to download???

I can not generate an advanced rotary toolpath thread manager shows it it hanging for 99% for ever. (UnKnown Operation) ???

The toolpath select geometry page greys out the Avoidance side. All other HST you can select avoidance surfaces

I did some testing yesterday on the machine. Setting 85 corner rounding is set from factory to 0.6mm. Now setting 85 says it controls the accuracy of corners by slowing feed rates down. Well I cut a rectangle shape at 15,000mm/min at setting 85 to 0.01mm and 1.5mm both ran on the machine exactly the same no change of feed around corners.

Yes Colin I know I have to now pay again more coin to get something in MC to work. What is annoying is MC is not cheep and there are a lot of things that just don't work or as you said I have to pay more coin to get working.

Well I ran my 5-axis posted code through MC Machine Sim and its basically a waste of time. As stated it runs the NCI code. In MC machine sim toolpaths constantly crashes because it does not read home moves in the Z or the G254 (DWO). When I ran the NC program on the actual machine it was all good. So not to be rude but machine sim is a complete waste of time for our 5-axis machines. It might might be helpful for a learner on a 3-axis machine but verify would be sufficant.

Hi guys has anyone got experience with the G187 P E settings for a HAAS UMC 750 SS? What values are you guys using for good surface finish results? P= P1 (rough) P2 (medium) P3 (finish) E= Sets the max corner rounding value Cheers Dave

Ok I received a model from a forum member. Thank you. When I use it MC machine simulator I can not see anything inside the machine. Is there something I'm missing to be able to see inside the closed door? Cheers

Hi guys is there a way of getting a machine model for Mastercams machine simulator? Are these available from somewhere? Are they free or do you have to pay for them? I' after a HAAS UMC 50 machine model for Mastercams machine simulator. I've never used mastercams machine sim before. Cheers
