I don't use MC mach sim never have I just need a post for the Mill.

When I was in Aerospace I bought a post directly from In-house and it was locked to my sim so no one else could use it, why do I now have to go threw my local reseller to by a post made by someone else? Whats the advantage of going threw my local reseller other than they put their mark up on the post?

Postability is that Dave Thomson? Will postabily sell direct and lock it your your sim or do you still have to go threw your reseller? Reseller will just put his $ on it for doing nothing.

Is there a way in MC 2018 to make the File, Open, Recent document list more than the last 10 files? I'd like to see more of my recently opened files. Thank you

In MC 2018 anyone else noticed you have to be 3D mode to create an edge curve now? If your in 2D mode it will project the curve to your working Z plane. I've never seen an edge curve before be created anywhere else but on the edge Curve.

I've noticed MC 2018 does not set the FPT to the pitch set in a taps tool data. 2017 I used to pick the tap from my library and the FPT would be locked to what the pitch was set for that tap you could change the RPM but the FPT was locked on the taps pitch. Cheers

I'd like to see face groove holders in MC 2018 Lathe? When verifying in MC the holder gouges the part because it is straight. In reality Face groove holders are curved. You can overcome this by making the holder thin. But if you could put the diameter range that the holder is designed to work within Verify would pick up a gouge. Cheers

OK I guess I was looking for MC 2017 MU1 or such at the top of MC like previous installs of MC used to show what version you where running at the top of MC (X9 MU1) Cheers

Cheers yes thats what I expected MC to do not a post mod. If ticking the FPT button in MC doesn't give any difference in the posted code whats the point of the function at all?

If I use FPT on a 2D HS dynamic milling a circle why doesn't the feed rate change as the hole gets bigger? If I was using FPT the feed rate should increase as the diameter of the hole gets bigger. I get no difference in posted NC code if I use FPT in MC or not. Is this correct?

From what I've learnt you'd only buy the SS if you wanted to do 5-Axis simultaneous. The HAAS just looked light to me does anyone the UMC 750 weight? The Doosan VC630 is 12.5 Ton
