Yes I type in the Imperial Taps OD and pitch into metric values. But it would be good if you could also select Imperial taps from the drop down list.
Same as if your running MC in Imperial and you'd like to select a Metric tap
Cheers
Hi guys Im running MC in Metric. When I select a tap from the drop down menu is there a way I can also pick imperial taps. My list only shows metric taps?

Hi David,
Thank you for contacting us with your findings with 2D Dynamic and using a Chamfer mill.
This is now logged as R-18085 with your information so the developers can take a look.
A possible work around is to still use your Chamfer mill but label it as a radius tool with a .8 radius when programing. This is giving a clean floor. I did test this back to X7 and it appears this problem has been with us since then and maybe before then.
Regards,
Curt
I believe there is bug in MC when using an endmill with a corner chamfer.
If I just change the toolpath to use a square endmill it cleans the floor. If I use a an endmill with a 0.5 chamfer corner the floor does not clean up.
Hi guys I have a strange one today when I start MC it hangs for ever starting up and it says allocating memory at the bottom of screen which I have never seen before.
Also closing MC takes for ever?
I have 5 different OPs in my MC file not all OPs use all the tools. If I do a tool list threw the tool manager it creates the entire tool list. I just need a tool list of the Ops I want to run.
I updated MC to the latest Maintenance release. Under the Holder tab I check Collision Checking. Why is Tilt to avoid Gouge Greyed out. Yes Im using a 5-axis machine def.

Hi David,
Thank you for sending this in. Taking a look a Point Dimensions values not updating when rotating this appears to be an issue when rotating around the active WCS/C plane with the Transform Rotate and Transform Dynamic functions. Moving the gnomon on these functions away from the WCS/C plane should correctly update the values.
I have created a request and will be closer looked into by the design product owner.
Request # R-17291
If you DO NOT hit the apply button and just click the Green tick the tool paths do not get corrupted.
Reply from QC was the fix will be at the end of August.
