  8. For me X2 is faster than 9 I think the problem here is that some companies afraid of change. I know companies that they had paid for x and X2 but never used it yet, they still working at 9. And this problem not with Mastercam only, its also with cimatron too. When I make the changed to X, it took me 1 week, yes it was bad week, but that’s all. and also to make the change now to X2 is easier from making it to X3 or X4

  15. John and Thad, thanks, thats what I wanted
  16. where is the select all result for X2? the one with mr2 not work with X2.
  17. well, you can cut it very fast but you have to keep the tool cold, when I cut it I use the manual gun colant to cool the tool, I don't like to keep the colant on all the time cause it will close the filters and it make a big miss in the colant tank, if you can use a vacuum to colect the material , it will be fine hss tools better that carbide I can give it 4000 mmPM without any problem hope this help
  18. I will try that Iskander, but lot of the work I do I got drawings ready to make toolpathes on it, so it will waste my time if I will re make it. any way, that problem is onley with surface contour, I use filter for other type of toolpathes with very fine result, right now there is a part on the machine for PET bottle mold, and I am using scallop with filter. it make the program 10 times smaller(from 47mb to 6.5mb), and the finish is very nice
  19. and why not to not use filter too, Iskander, there always work around ways to make the parts. I thought that I made something wrong in using filter. for that I asked about it, any way work is fine without filtering.
  20. lee, I got bad result on parts too, for that I say that you can see it in verify. so I am not talking about video card issue. I talked with my dealer, and he say that he know about this issue, so there is a problem using filter on round surfaces. David, I used 0.002mm tolerance with filter. and the result was bad too. so even if I use 0.02mm without filtring, I got a better result. as I said this is only on round surfaces.
  21. lee, its not somthing with the machine, cause you can see it in verify. Jay, I tried what you said, but it give the same problem. I thing its something with mastercam X
  22. is it only with my mastercam filter?? any one?
