After installing MR1, when I try to create curve on a surface, it create it only as spline,
It doesn’t give lines or arcs at all!!!
Is there setting for this thing???
if you have corel draw, you can use the coreltrace, or you can make a search at this forum for rasr2vec, it was coverd a lot of time, and you will find a lot of info about this issue
Right click the file , properties , and chose the open with icon, chose wich program you want to open the file with, chose mill9.exe.
there will be an icon to always use the program to open this type of files, click it.

Just received Mastercam X yesterday
Today I tried it with real work on machines
No problem at all
Of course with ver 9 it still faster
It need some time to get familiar with it,
And with the support at the emastercam forum, it should be easier to change from ver 9

If I understand your question and you are using pocket toolpathes
So you can control the speed and feed for the finish pass using the Override feed speed option

, you can save the toolpathes in library, and after merging the part , load toolpathe from library.
this is a way to make it, maybe other guy will give you other way.
