After installing MR1, when I try to create curve on a surface, it create it only as spline, It doesn’t give lines or arcs at all!!! Is there setting for this thing???

I use the point info, I don't know what the use of the vector info too!!! the angel and radius is good information too in the dynamic analyze

if you have corel draw, you can use the coreltrace, or you can make a search at this forum for rasr2vec, it was coverd a lot of time, and you will find a lot of info about this issue

Right click the file , properties , and chose the open with icon, chose wich program you want to open the file with, chose mill9.exe. there will be an icon to always use the program to open this type of files, click it. thats all, hope it will help

Just received Mastercam X yesterday Today I tried it with real work on machines No problem at all Of course with ver 9 it still faster It need some time to get familiar with it, And with the support at the emastercam forum, it should be easier to change from ver 9

I think Solidworks will do it I don’t know, maybe Mastercam Art can do the trick!!

Hi mekanikal I think Mastercam can’t do such thing till now. Maybe you have to make this in other cad system and Import it to Mastercam

changing feed for finish path on arcs

Hi Dave If I understand your question and you are using pocket toolpathes So you can control the speed and feed for the finish pass using the Override feed speed option -
Keep ctrl down, select the tow mastercam from the toolbar Right click on one of them select Tile Vertically or Horizontally Volla

Merging Parts with Toolpaths/Operations

Hi CADin , you can save the toolpathes in library, and after merging the part , load toolpathe from library. this is a way to make it, maybe other guy will give you other way. -
Mastercam ant ATI cards don't like each other so the best way is to change to Nvidia cards but not the MX models. Best Regards
