in standard Fanuc Macro B, what variables are 'local' and 'global'?
Working on a post with sub program support and need touse some local and some global.
Thanks,
jmoore3,
Be sure you have spaces between the .exe and the first switch and between switches.
i.e. mastercam.exe /M3 /S
Space between e and / and between 3 and /.
JNO,
on Monday I scheduled a 'Basic Post' class at our Sterling office on Nov 13-14. Sign up ASAP, I'll be email/fax blasting the launch of our new web site, www.s4a.us , our scheduled X Transition class on Oct 20th in our CT office (Training Schedule) , and the Nov. Post class. The post class is sure to fill fast.
Everyone,
I didn't see this posted anywhere yet, BUT,
Mastercam has released PREVIEW videos for X2 on Mastercam.com for all to see. If you interested in seeing what’s coming in Mastercam X2, please go here:
X2 Preview Videos
The videos include an X2 preview of change recognition, new high speed toolpaths, new surface extend functionality, system changes, new selection changes, and a larger general overview of X2. There are supposed to be more videos as we get closer to X2 release. So stay turned.
Also remember that the videos for X MR1 and MR2 are still available from the multimedia area of Mastercam.com here:
MR1 and MR2 videos .
kota,
would be best for you to start over with something newer. Use the Generic Fanuc 5 axis post that ships with V9.1 and more people will likely be able to help you.
from the Mastercam post pdf's
quote:
brksps - Breaks a string variable at the character position specified by the numeric variable of the first parameter. The original string (the second parameter)holds the start of the broken string and the result string variable holds the end of the original string variable.
string2 = brksps(real_result, string1)
can right-click, select auto-cursor and turn off the 'snaps' you don't want. Problem is that you can't turn off sketch, so you still have to make sure you pick your geometry and not just free space.
Bob,
i'd guess that a vast majority run their Win XP with the default of hiding letter underlines. So until someone tried to use it, you wouldn't see the error.
