  1. I am not sure what file to manipulate so I can configure the setup sheet. Any help would be appreciated. I am very happy with it, just like to tweak some things.
  2. Is there a way I can get X+ utilities to output all the tools in a transform operation?

    X BUG!

Found my first bug in X. 1.When using tranform toolpath, operation comments do not post. 2.Selecting transform and creating setup sheet using mill2.set, X crashes to desktop. If any of you guys use the transform toolpath as often as I do, you will probably have a few problems. I must say between this issue and the graphics issue I have using an ATI card, I am a little disappointed in cnc software. Please don't get me wrong, I am a die hard mastercam fan, but a little frustrated.
  4. When I tranform my toolpath the comments do not post. Is this a transform issue or a post issue?
  5. Thanks dwsz71. Is there a way to change it back to the old way????
  6. I just noticed the same thing happens when I post!
  7. I am using the Mill2.set. When I generate the sheet the program name comes up "machine_group_1". It should output the name of the MC file. I have compared it to the mill2.set for version 9, and it appears the same. What am I missing here?
  8. Nevermind, I found it in the machine control definition.
  9. I am having trouble changing the setup sheet. I change it to mill2.set in the configuration file, but it still uses mill.set. Is there another place I must change it?
  10. That was it bullines, thank you again. This forum rocks!
  11. quote ----------------------------------------------- Try turning off " Use unified back/depth buffer" in your OpenGL performance settings. ------------------------------------------------ I do not have that option.
  12. ATI mobility Radeon X600. I do my design work in Pro-E and do not have any problems at all?
  13. Thanks Bullines. I figured it was something I was missing. The open GL question is because I still have to disable hardware acceleration or i have some graphics problems. I thought I would not have to do that with X.
  14. Why do I see a point at the center of all my radii. I hope I can turn this off, but I have not had any success. Anybody else have this issue. Also, why is it that when I disable open GL my models are not shaded? I thought we were not going to have to use open GL in version X.
  15. Thanks for the reply, I thought it wouldn't be problem. I am only going between 100 and 150 feet.
  16. I have been told by my IT guy that I can only go 75 feet before I lose signal. Is this accurate? I know I have had longer runs at previous jobs.
  17. turn down your hardware acceleration.
  18. I got mine a couple weeks ago. I just traded solid works for it! Ha! Ha!
  19. Be sure to tighten up the tolerance in the operation. It might not be tool related.
  20. Just got a Dell LATITUDE D810, and love it. I run mastercam and Pro E with no problems.
  21. Can you use pattern surface for your tool axis control? That should do the same thing, if I am understanding the question correctly.
  22. Thanks millman. I am extremely impressed with your insight into this company. Your desciption is so accurate it is scary. You must have been around the block before.
  23. ------------------------------------------------- So is the place in your profile where you are going? ------------------------------------------------- No, it is where I am leaving.
  24. How about the machinist formerly known as 5ax.
  25. I am not going to synthes, but I have heard it is a great place to work. Good luck! P.S. Graham says Hi.
